SKCCIF Funding Opportunities

2025 RFP application is open from March 3 - April 10
The Port is accepting applications for the 2025 South King County Community Impact Fund (SKCCIF) Economic Opportunities for Communities (EOC) Program. The EOC Program connects historically underrepresented communities to opportunities for living wage jobs and careers, creating access for the next generation of professionals to enter the port-related industries of aviation, construction trades, green jobs, and maritime. The RFP is Procurement # 00322251. See Funding FAQs for additional details. 

Fund details

  • Approximately $2 million in funding is available for 2025 application
  • Funding duration and amounts are:
    • Single year from $65,000 - $115,000, or
    • Multi-year (up to 3 years) from $100,000-$275,000
  • Community-based organizations with the following requirements may be eligible to apply:
  • Proposed projects must include the core components:
    • Port-related industries. Increase awareness and access to jobs and careers in port-related industries (aviation, construction trades, green jobs, and maritime)
    • Career-prep and Career-readiness Scopes. Be related to workforce development, utilizing career-prep and career-readiness programming and work-based learning strategies, such as awareness, exploration, preparation, and training
    • Equity. Serve historically underrepresented communities who live and work in near-airport cities and South King County, extending up to Duwamish Valley and Beacon Hill. Underrepresented communities include communities of color, low-income communities, immigrants and refugees, and other structurally excluded communities
  • Organizations with physical office space in the six near-airport cities will be evaluated more favorably

How to apply

  1. Go to the Port's VendorConnect
  2. Click on “Current/Past Solicitations” and search for Procurement # 00322251
  3. Download the RFP Package and Exhibits. The files will include details about the program and application forms
  4. Submit your application with all required documents by email to [email protected] by 12:00 p.m. PST on April 10, 2025

Tips

  • Before you apply, take the SKCCIF EOC Self-Assessment to determine whether your organization and project proposal are the right match for this funding
  • To receive email updates to the RFP, go to the Port's VendorConnect. Create a log-in account. Register your organization as a Vendor. Click on “Become a Plan Holder”
  • To ask questions about the RFP, follow step in Tip #2 and Click on “Ask a Question”

RFP questions
