Statement from Port of Seattle Commission President Hamdi Mohamed:
“The Port of Seattle would like to congratulate Governor-elect Ferguson and express our commitment to working with him and his administration to advance our joint goals for the Port and our larger region. This includes critical work to support economic development opportunities at our gateways, investments in transportation that supports the movement of people and goods, preservation of our maritime and industrial lands, and our joint goals to advance sustainability and decarbonization policies as we focus on building a port for the future.”
