The majority of Lyft and Uber pick-up on the 3rd floor of the airport parking garage. Premium Uber rides like Uber Black meet at the baggage claim-level door the passenger selects.

Getting picked up at SEA Airport

Passengers can find the majority of app based rideshare pick-up areas in the middle of the 3rd floor of the on-site parking garage in the marked stall numbers 1 - 34 in the orange and purple sections of the garage.

To access the app based rideshare pick-up area, passengers will go across the skybridges located a level below ticketing and a level above baggage claim and go down one level to the 3rd floor. There is wayfinding signage that refers to app-based ride share throughout the terminal and the bag claim area to direct passengers to the TNC pick up area. From there, please use a crosswalk to navigate to the marked stall numbers 1 - 34 located near the center of the garage. To ensure the safety of passengers and drivers, please wait until your assigned vehicle has parked before boarding.

Where do I meet my Lyft or Uber upon arrival at SEA?

• UberPool and UberX: 3rd floor of parking garage
• Uber Black: Passenger-selected door outside of baggage claim

Getting dropped off at SEA

During peak times, the airport drives can become congested causing delays for an arriving app-based rideshare vehicle. Arrivals drives are often congested at night time from 8 p.m. to midnight. Departure drives are often congested in the mornings from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.  Traffic at the airport increases around weekends, holidays, and summer travel. To avoid traffic, think opposite! Use the alternate drive that is experiencing congestion to get to your gate faster.

Passengers using app-based rideshare at SEA will be dropped off at the terminal on the airport drives. During peak congestion times, your assigned driver may drop you off on the Arrival or Departure drives to help avoid traffic and get you to your gate faster. If you are dropped off for your departing flight on the arrival/baggage claim level, you can take the elevator or escalator quickly to the ticketing level.

Hotel and Offsite Courtesy ShuttlesHotels, Motels, and Off-Site parking companies offering Courtesy Shuttle will pick up and drop off on the courtesy island shuttle lane. This is located on the 3rd floor of the parking structure on Island 1 and 3. For navigation assistance, please use our interactive map search "courtesy vehicle shuttle or view our Parking Garage and Ground Transportation Map. Please contact your Hotel, Motel or Off-Site parking company directly to inquire if they provide courtesy shuttle to and from the Airport.

All operators starting a business at Sea-Tac International Airport are required to have a current agreement  on file. You must keep your information and permits up to date.

OPERATING AREA

Permitted Pre-Arranged limousines are allowed to pick up on the Arrival Drive (Lower Drive). 

Drop offs must be done on the Departure drive (Upper Drive). Please note you must use the Load and Unload Lanes, Bus Zones. Thru Lanes and marked off areas are not permitted space to use.

In order to do a meet and greet, drivers must park their vehicles on the 3^rd floor of the parking garage in the Ground Transportation Plaza in the marked limo stalls. The driver must print a pass, this pass must be displayed upright on the dash. Drivers passes are required for all Pre-Arranged Limousines regardless of how you are dispatched. If you have gone over your time and an extension is needed please contact the Ground Transportation office at 206-787-5906 .

For Pre-Arranged Limousines who exceed the height limits for the 3^rd floor entry way please call our office at 206-787-5906 to get specific directions on where to park your vehicle. Please note, over-height vehicles are required to check in via phone when utilizing the over-height parking area.

FAQs

I want to switch my vehicle; do I have to purchase a new permit?

If you have a current pre-arranged permit on your vehicle and need to switch your vehicle out you have the option to do so as long as you are the owner of the previous car and the current vehicle. You will not be charged for a new permit as long as you have the old one, current paperwork for your new car present at the booth.  

I just got my windshield replaced, How do I get a new permit?

You will need to bring all the original paperwork and the voided permit in order to get a replacement sticker. If you have the required documents you will not be charge.

Arrivals is busy, can I use the Departure drive to pick up my guest?

No, you will be cited for “loading in the wrong drive.”

I am going on vacation soon, can my driver come into purchase a permit for me?

A Signature Capture/Authorized Signer Form must be fill out in order for someone to purchase permits other than the owner. Both parties will need to come to the Ground Transportation Booth and fill out the form here, please bring your identification as well.

Do you prorate the cost of permits?

Permits are issued based off your DOL expiration date, no we do not prorate.

Can I park in the parcel stalls?

If you park in the parcel stalls you must let Ground Transportation staff know that you are doing so. Please note that we only accommodate parking in unauthorized areas when the limousine stalls are full.
