Since Jett the SEA Otter arrived late last year, travelers passing through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport have been on a mission to spot (or snap a selfie with) our otterly adorable friend.
Jett loves making people smile — whether it’s giving high-fives, sharing big hugs, or simply watching planes take off and land. There’s nowhere he’d rather be than SEA!
But lately, Jett has been feeling a little guilty. With millions of passengers traveling through SEA each year, he just can’t greet everyone personally. And that’s a problem for an otter who loves to be everywhere at once.
So, he came up with a plan — one that ensures he’ll always be ready to welcome you the moment you arrive at your gate. SEA is installing more than 100 inflatable tube Jetts throughout the airport, so no matter where you go, you’ll always be greeted by his friendly, flappy waves!
